The AV Box offers a professional media management system for audio and video files. The AV Box is based on the ArchivistaBox, a Swiss document management system that was developed in the early 1990s and launched on the market in 1998. The sources have been open source since 2006. In this sense, the AV-Box (audio and video box) is an ArchivistaBox designed for audiovisual data.
